Hello everyone. Welcome to another episode of The Five Minute Leader. Today I want to talk about the metrics that matter, specifically around leadership.
Now, this is not going to be a political video, but whether you look at a Donald Trump, whether you look at a Pete Hegseth, a Satya Nadella, an Elon Musk, a Jack Welch—whoever it is that you want to look at—one of the things that I'm finding really interesting in today's very polarizing business and economic climate is that we're very quick to judge people based on certain things, certain actions that they might take. And it's very easy to do that.
But I think, especially when we think about leadership, we really need to evaluate a leader based on the role that they're in and what their job is. So, for example, let's say you look at somebody like Elon Musk, right? And you think about it and you say, "Is Elon Musk a good business leader or not?" Well, yeah, there might be some things that somebody like Elon Musk does that you don't like, but that's not the question.
