Hello, everyone. Welcome to another Five Minute Leader. Today, I also wanted to share something personal, but again, also something very relevant to the business world.

As you may or may not know, my family, we live in the Los Angeles area. We were evacuated due to the wildfires that were here, and I put up a video on LinkedIn. I put it up on Instagram where, literally, I walked outside of our house, and I could see flames on the hills, and it was terrifying.

We evacuated originally because we lost power, and then I’m sitting there at the Muse. We had some workers in our house that are redoing an office bathroom, and they call me on the phone and say, "Hey, Jacob, there’s a lot of smoke in the area. You might want to check what’s going on." I go on the news, and I see, less than a mile away, a huge fire breaks out.
