In today’s video, Seth Godin and I discuss the importance of defining the rules of engagement within a team or organization. This involves clearly communicating what you, as a leader, commit to your team and what you expect in return. A key part of this is understanding and aligning on what we’re measuring and why. If there's a disconnect in what's being measured, problems will inevitably arise. We also discussed the importance of taking this moment in time, before the AI apocalypse or climate change completely innovates the economy, to ask ourselves why we are here and what we are seeking to do.

We also touch on the importance of acquiring new skills. When it comes to implementing change within a team or organization, it's more effective to show through actions rather than just words. People notice what you do way more than what you say. So, before having those conversations about change, start doing the things that you would do after those conversations.

I invite you to watch our discussion where we delve deeper into these topics.
