Hey everyone. Welcome to another Five Minute Leader here from beautiful, so sunny Punta Mita in Mexico. Today, I wanted to do a video on How do you know when to stop with AI.
More and more organizations that I am working with and speaking with are telling me that they’re giving all of their employees access to AI tools, tools like ChatGPT. And of course, we’re still trying to figure out how to measure things like productivity gains and cost savings with these AI tools.
The difference between AI versus having an advisor who is a human counterpart is that in those situations, when you have those debates and conversations with a person—and I apologize in advance for some of the background music here—but in those conversations, when you’re having a debate with a human being, eventually those conversations will end. People run out of things to say. You’ve debated the topics, the issues are done.
The challenge with AI is that it will never stop. As much as you want it to keep fine-tuning, as much as you want it to keep improving, as many questions as you want to ask it—it’s just not going to stop. It’ll keep asking. It’ll keep responding to you. It will keep giving you ideas. It’ll keep giving you suggestions.
